Standing in the Gap: OB Navigation


On December 11th the Lugar Center for Rural Health was honored to present at Indiana's Labor of Love Infant Mortality Summit. The event is one of the largest of its kind and this year attracted over 1,600 attendees. Speaking on work done to decrease infant mortality the Lugar Center's Dan Hardesty and Hicham Rahmouni were joined with partners Stephanie Cloutier (Valley Professionals Community

Health Center) and Brandon Halleck (Chances and Services for Youth). The presentation titled, Standing in the Gap: Building the OB Navigation Infrastructure in West Central Indiana highlighted work from the West Central Indiana Healthy Start program and the Perinatal Navigator Program.
