Senator Bassler Visits Lugar Center

On May 24th Indiana State Senator, Eric Bassler (39th), visited the Lugar Center for Rural Health for a discussion about challenges in Rural Health and Lugar Center projects within his District. Among topics discussed included Behavioral Health, Addiction Medicine, Telehealth, Residency Placements, and Medical Student Education. The LC partners with many entities in the district to implement projects including Sullivan County Community Hospital, Greene County General Hospital, and the Clay City Center for Family Medicine.

Senator Eric Bassler was impressed with the work being done within his district and throughout Rural Health. The Senator was particularly impressed with the Telehealth work being done to increase access to his constituents through LC's partnerships throughout the district. (See Telehealth here)
