Lugar Center Staff Recognized by their Peers

Nicole Heath and Hicham Rahmouni were recently recognized in two separate events. Please join us in congratulating them for their efforts and contribution to our community.

Nicole Heath was a nominee for the 2017 Intern of the Year IMPACT award. Internship excellence, and the interns, employers and career development professionals that make it possible, were honored on February 7th by Indiana INTERNnet during the 12th annual IMPACT Awards Luncheon. Indiana INTERNnet is the statewide resource for internship opportunities managed by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, and has helped connect students and employers across the state since 2001.

Lugar Center, Executive Director, Hicham Rahmouni, was presented

with the Solomon Award, during the United Way of the Wabash Valley annual meeting held on January 24th, 2018. The Solomon Award has been awarded annually since 1991 by the United Way Community Impact Committee to a leader in the community who has “demonstrated extraordinary wisdom, responsiveness and flexibility in distributing funding resources entrusted by donors to the United Way.” Hicham was selected as the 2017 winner.
