Sarah Briley Joins the Lugar Center

Please join us in welcoming Sarah Briley to the Richard G. Lugar Center for Rural Health. Prior to joining the Lugar Center, Sarah served as Maternal Health Administrator with the Indiana Department of Health, Division of Maternal and Child Health. She spent five years at IDOH leveraging partnerships and promoting evidence-based programs to improve birth outcomes and reduce maternal morbidity and mortality.

Sarah became passionate about addressing the unique hardships faced by rural residents after hearing firsthand patient stories during her time serving on the State's COVID-19 Response Team. A graduate of Indiana State University, Sarah is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Indiana University Bloomington. She will serve as a Project Manager at the Lugar Center.
