What is this site all about?
RuralConsult was created to address the specialty needs of
rural physicians, mid-level providers and patients. With this service, a health
provider can submit digital photographs and patient information to a selected
specialist. The specialist can view this information and then offer advice.
Who can view submitted information?
Information submitted to this site is confidential and
available only to the referring physician or mid-level provider, selected
specialist, and the Midwest Center for Rural Health.
How does Midwest Center for
Rural Health use this information?
The Midwest Center for Rural Health will use the information
for research and educational purposes. Individual cases will not be examined
without approval from both the referring physician or mid-level provider and the
specialist.
