The Family Medicine Residency is no longer offering the Observership program.



Family Medicine Clerkship Information

The purpose of the Family Medicine Clerkship at the Union Hospital Family Medicine Residency is to provide fourth year medical students from accredited medical schools an introduction to Family Medicine through participation in daily patient care activities in an outpatient clinic and hospital setting. Clerkship goals include becoming actively involved in an interdisciplinary health care team, learning to be responsible for patient management, learning to work effectively with other members of a health care team, developing skills as a medical professional, and learning about the specialty of Family Medicine with a focus on rural and medically underserved patients.
